The mud socks provide full coverage of the lower leg and are shaped out of soft, flexible shock-absorbing neoprene for comfort. Airflow perforations help prevent your horse's legs from over heating. Didn't think I would like them, but I am pleasantly surprised. Fairly easy to put on and remove. They cover from the hoof to the knee. She isn't bothered with the coverage.
