It's okay, but not as good as one we had a number of years ago. The manufacturer has really cut corners on their canopies that used to be better. The legs on this new one are thinner, about 1 3/8" compared to the 2" for our old one. And the metal thickness is thinner on this new one. Also, there are no grommets to attach the tarp with bungees over both of the peak sides - for the entire end length; the old tarp had grommets all up and down the peak side. The ~6" bungees they give you are too short for the tarp that came with the frame! Good thing I already had a bunch of longer ~9" bungees that did the trick. The plastic feet are loose; they are not connected at all to the metal legs. If each leg is not tied down securely, even a small wind will lift the leg out of the foot. The metal legs each come in two pieces that are only pushed together and held by "friction," if you can call it that. The old unit had every connection bolted together instead of relying on friction. The whole canopy feels much lighter weight than the old one, so it definitely flutters around more in the wind. We have had to tie this one down on each leg, which was more than we had to tie down the old one. I also purchased separately eight weight bags, which we filled with sand. The old canopy only needed four weight bags, one at each corner, even though both old and new canopies have eight legs. This new one seems like it won't last nearly as long as the old one, but time will tell.
