Q: How do they handle wind? We get 30 to 40 mph winds in North Texas. The last shade I had tore itself apart, shredded the cover and bent the legs

- A: Hello, Unfortunately, these canopies are not live load rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance and keeping snow off the roof area is strongly recommended. We do offer custom Engineered Structures that carry a wind rating when properly anchored. Excellent Gazebo Canopy

Have had a few of these over many years. Had a tree fall on it this winter so of course I am replacing it with another ShelterLogic. Great quality and long lasting. Would highly recommend.

The shelter constantly needs to be adjusted to keep the tarp taunt, snow and water pool up on it! In high wings it turns to a kite! Poles bend and break at the connection points
