Bought this at $100 off MSRP making it a great deal. Unlike some other reviewers I know how to read the Manufacturers restrictions on use and for it's warranty. Let's be clear here, you're NOT getting the buy of a century. In this price range you need to set your expectations that this is essentially a disposable product meant to last 1-3 seasons under ideal conditions. Those conditions being other than direct beating sun every single day, heavy snow loads and hurricane strength winds. This manufacturer as well as others make other models with superior quality components that will withstand the elements longer but, as you can guess, it's not as cheap as this one. If you can get this on one of the many sales TSC has you can then turn around and invest the savings into making this a longer lasting product and you will have your buy of a century. If you don't feel you should have to make a product you purchase better then start off by buying a more expensive product! Immediate upgrades to extend the life of this product that you can use the $100 you saved on: Purchase a silver Heavy Duty UV proof/reflective 20x24 tarp (finished size is approx 19'4x23'6). It is approximately 24' from one side of this domed shelter to the other so a 20'x24' tarp will cover a vast majority of it. Tying and staking this tarp down has the added benefit of creating additional down force for the building during high winds. For the remaining exposed roof/door areas feel free to coat it in your favorite color of paint or clear UV coating spray, basically anything to add UV protection. Purchase some 3/8" rebar and create approximately 3' lengths with an L or U shape at one end essentially making giant tent stakes and stake all of the footings down into the ground, even the ones with the Auger stakes attached. More can't hurt. After that you're looking at bracing if you want to support snow loads but I doubt that's recommended. This is the second such product I've purchased from Shelter Logic. I will admit that the first one was one of the carport models and I didn't take my own advice but it still lasted 2 seasons including snow loads in the North East.

Had this for about a year and have really enjoyed it for my car, however that is over now. I kept the roof brushed off and free of snow, but overnight we had a snowstorm and now the top frame has collapsed onto the roof of my car and the steel bars busted in half. Reading another review here, the manufacturer living up to the warranty here sounds grim. If they require it be dissassembled, packed & shipped back instead of pictures. Shipping would be at least a 3rd of the orginal price.
