Covers Could Use Improvement

Over the last 10 years I have bought well over 2 dozen 4’ & 8’ covers. They do the job fine and the zippers are great. The fabric integrity? Ok for awhile, but with 4-season exposure to UV & freezing temps, their life is very finite. You may get two years before the fabric degrades to the point of tearing as it does not have a rip stop feature.
I’ve salvaged torn covers into tarps of varying sizes made from the vertical portions of the covers only, as the horizontal surfaces become too degraded for that use.
Sure, you get what you pay for and maybe there is a value there for the new cover price point, but in tough environments the “value length” is easily debatable. If another grade of cover was offered with high UV resistance and a tiptop feature (perhaps only on the top / horizontal surfaces), another price point for a better cover could be offered?
Also, adding a grommet at each end of the cover at the bottom would help for tie-downs, as, depending on wind patterns, I’ve had 8’ covers lifted up and off racks completely and blown off across my property….

Purchased this cover to replace the cover from other racks
a month ago
I have purchased a few fireracks but their covers have fallen apart due to wind and weather. Only the ShelterLogic cover withstood the Canaidan weather. Therefore I bought more covers for my other firewood racks.
