Shell Rotella T1 40 provides quality lubrication and consistent performance with well-proven performance additives to fight engine corrosion and wear. It provides excellent wear protection that promotes engine durability and is suitable for heavy equipment used for construction, mining, or quarry operations. The Best Oil For 2 Cycle Detroit Diesel Engines

We still operate two Detroit Diesel 4-53T, 2 Cycle Engines since 1979. They Just Won't Quit and mine operate exclusively on Straight 40W. We used Pennzoil SAE 40 for many years but 5-6 years ago switched to Shell Rotella SAE 40 because the Pennzoil is harder to find. The old Detroits just love it and never show any signs or wear.
