Q: Can sharpie paint pens be stored in 45 degree Fahrenheit?
a year agoOriginally posted on Sharpie
1 Answer
- A: Hello Lena, Thank you for the question. For oil-based markers. It is much better to store them horizontaly (Flat Storage at 0°). Storing oil-based markers horizontally ensures the ink remains evenly distributed inside the barrel. This prevents the ink from settling at one end or drying out, keeping both the tip and internal reservoir ready for use. Vibrant and bright colors

I love these pens. They dry fairly quickly. Good for many art projects. They do have a little bit of an odor but nothing unbearable. They are kinda thick but have great coverage. The lighter colors sometimes need a second coat.

Fast drying

Phewww am I glad that these are fast drying ! There is hardly and smears left on our hands/palms .. lol which is surprising considering there’s a lot of Keys on the keyboard . We did have to have a fan going on in the background to deter the smell . My kids loved the creativity freedom to design .

versatile product

The Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers (Medium Point) are super handy for all kinds of projects. They write smoothly on glass, metal, wood, plastic, and more, with bold, vibrant colors that really pop. The medium tip gives nice, even lines—thick enough to stand out but still easy to control. They do need a quick shake and press to get going, but once they start, the ink flows well and dries fast without smudging. Durable, long-lasting, and great for crafts or labeling.
