The SentrySafe Small Quick-Access Digital Pistol Safe is designed to provide top of the line security with solid steel construction, a pry-resistant door and bolt-down hardware. This small handgun safe also offers discreet entry with a compression gas strut for whisper-quiet entry and backlit digital lock that allows for single handed access. Needs to be more dependable

Even with very fresh batteries, the safe fails to function when buttons are pressed on occasion. I have had to key open and remove and re insert batteries to get the code open function to work. Not what I want to trust if I need to get this safe open quick in an emergency.

The rod to help assist does not work making it very difficult to open the safe quickly.

One piece failure divides life n death

I loved this box when I first got it. Unfortunately the gas strut wore out very quickly causing me to have to put something down in the crack to lift up the lid after I unlocked it. That extra step and extra time it takes is dangerous in a life or death situation!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Stands up to brute force attack

This is my second. My ex did everything he could to try and break into the safe and acces one of the two guns inside. It held up. It took me using an override key and prybar to open it.

Yes, I recommend this product.
