[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this trimmer but it’s a bit heavy for a battery operated trimmer. It has good power and the blades are sharp. It can definitely get the job done for a small yard but if you have a lot of bushes to trim you will need to take a break due to the weight.

While I've used a battery-powered hedge trimmer before, this had some unexpected surprises and benefits I didn't know I wanted. Build Quality: Well-built, sturdy, and even though it was quite long, it didn't feel droopy or unstable while in use. Good qualities when using a sharp object designed for cutting. Features: At first, I wasn't sold on the extra length the pole feature offered. I was concerned with the level of control I'd have. I have several plants I cut down to shape in the fall, so precision is important. The articulating head, while fixed, allowed me to reach typically hard to access areas with ease. There was also an included strap to help counter the length of this pole hedge trimmer. So control was not lacking. Battery: The 20 volt battery charged quickly enough, and had plenty of juice to help me get through my yard work. No concerns with the power offered, either. Enough power to cut through everything I needed. Packaging and assembly: Everything came well packaged, securely enough that nothing was damaged in transit. I like this. Nothing worse than a new product that is already all beat up because of bad packaging. Assembly was relatively easy. Had to connect the pole in the middle. I struggled just a bit to insert the one side to the other at the connecting point, but it was worth it. There was no play or wiggle after assembly. Overall Thoughts: This is certainly not the same as a hand trimmer. The length this offers is great for taller plants and maybe some small trees. For yard work aficionados, this would be a great tool to have at your disposal. It gets the job done, and does what its designed to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a landscaping professional but after using this trimmer, my bushes looked like they were professionally trimmed. I have many boxwood plants and golden cypress shrubs in my yard and used this to get all around them. A nice feature of this was the trimmer at the top was very easy to move and bend to reach all of the hard to reach areas of the bush. The battery told me how much charge I had left so I didn’t have to worry about starting a new bush and only getting halfway done. The shoulder strap made it easy to control the trimmer. Overall a great product and I will be investing in other Senix brand products.

The battery lasts long enough to complete my entire trimming routine. I am impressed by how powerful this device is and how seamless it trims.
