Senergy ( Selamectin ) Topical for Cats kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching for one month and is indicated for the prevention and control of flea infestations, prevention of heartworm disease, and the treatment and control of ear mite infestations. Selarid is also indicated for the treatment and control of roundworm and intestinal hookworms. The active ingredient selamectin works to protect pets for up to 1 month, helping them stay happy and healthy. The flea and tick treatment for cats also eliminates flea eggs before they hatch, keeping furry friends safe from future infestations.How it Works

Selamectin, which is SENERGY™'s active ingredient, is in a drug class called macrocyclic lactone compounds. Compounds like selamectin work for a full month to control and treat sarcoptic mange, prevent hatching of flea eggs, control ticks, kill adult fleas, prevent heartworms from developing, and control ear mites.

Special Precautions

• Do not use in humans.
• Cats should receive a heartworm test prior to use. Cats with an existing infection should receive treatment before starting this medication.
• Never use in underweight, debilitated, or sick pets.
• Human reactions have included skin redness, itching, and hives.
• No hypersensitivity reactions have been reported in cats with a patent heartworm infection when given 3 times recommended selamectin dosages. No higher dose was studied.
• In case of eye contact, use large amounts of water to flush the eyes.

• This product does not kill D. immitis in the adult stage.

• Do not use on cats under 8 weeks old.
• Although circulating microfilariae could decrease after use, this product is not formulated for clearance against microfilariae.
