With the Schumacher PC-1000 1000 Watt Continuous/2000 Peak Watt Power Inverter users have access to household AC from their vehicle at any time. It's a great option for running power tools on remote sites or for your next tailgate. The PC-1000 features two 120V AC outlets, as well as a 2A USB port. It also features built-in protection from power surges and overheating. Plus, it's easy to use. Simply connect the unit to the vehicle battery with ring connectors. I manage short term rental house’s at Cedar Creek Lake and the power has gone out several times while guests are staying so I thought this might help and it has literally been a lifesaver! I’m not the best at knowing how to use something like this but the instructions were easy to follow. I had it working within 10 minutes and it works perfectly! I have used it myself and our guests have raved at being able to have a back-up plan, especially during the winter. I ended up purchasing 3 more to put in the other homes. Everyone should have this as a back-up plan or as an excuse to go camping and have a little fun!

I live in Florida, so having this in case of emergency is pretty vital. Our most recent hurricane season served as a great reminder that it's important to have some kind of access to power for charging phones , laptops or even an electric ice chest. This power inverter is top notch and has worked perfectly so far to power our electronics etc . Also if on a road trip, this has been extremely useful for when you don't have regular access to outlets. Definitely I advise keeping one of these in your car and ready to use!

Great for camping

Never thought I needed something like the Schumacher 1000 Continuous watt/2000 peak watt power inverter until I got it and understood what it is and what it can be used for. We do a lot of camping and traveling. The manual is easy to understand and makes it easy to use. It’s easy to assemble and attach to my car. I like that it has USB ports. Camping I can have my coffee machine! Good for charging small tools. I can hook up my shop vac after a day at the beach and suck up all that sand!

Good for small items.

Works great with smaller power tools, aka..small circular saws, drills, etc. Just don't over do it with 15 Amp miter saws or bigger tools. If you are looking to power an LED TV and/,or coolers or fridge it works well. Would be great as an assist in camping or construction for mud wattage use items. Downside: wiring included is too short to mount anywhere other than under the dash in a car.
