Users aren't using this correctly. Boil 5 cups water. Dip all parts of the feeder into the boiling water for 20 seconds. Kills all bacteria. Add 1 cup sugar to water. Cool. USE a stainless steel funnel.
Poor sugar water into feeder WHILE STILL ABOUT 140-160 DEGREES and assemble feeder to seal all parts. The larger well of 38 ounces will last - bacteria free - for many, many weeks without any contamination! Clear glass guarantees visibility of solution... not cloudy? Still going strong!

Great looking but slightly finicky feeder.

Would be 5 stars if gasket was not so finicky but as long as you're even s little careful it works great. No leaks, yes the markings make no sense, who cares it's a feeder and a really good looking one.

I like the looks of the feeder but it leaks. I purchased 3 and all 3 leak. I have sugar water all over my railing and porch, I have to clean it every time I fill them up. Very disappointed
