I decided to purchase these even with all of the negative reviews. Have owned them for about a month and so far they are solid. I gave 4 stars because I feel like the “craftsmanship” could be a little better. You can see the glue in some parts on the boot and it looks kinda janky. I will say that I’m a little upset because they market this boot as made in USA but come to find out it’s made in Puerto Rico. I personally don’t think you should be able to market something as Berry Compliant if it’s not made in the states.

I bought these boots a month ago and they’re great. They’re comfortable and the steel toe element is something you can trust. The only downside is the sizing. I normally wear an 11.5, I purchased an 11 and it had a bit more room in the front but it’s not too big. I could’ve ordered a half size down but I’d be afraid they’d be too small. I suggest wearing a half size smaller than your normal size.

Im giving two stars because they absolutely destroyed my heels with blisters to the point I couldn't walk. The rubber sole is so stiff and rigid they don't flex at all when you walk. Because of that you lift all of the weight with your heel, feels like walking on a 2 by 4 plank. Additionally, the ankle is way too wide. Even when as tight as possible they didnt grip my leg. These do not fit at all for people with big feet but not big legs. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because they seem good quality/sturdy, just poorly designed.

My granddaughter and her husband are both Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. They requested these boots for Christmas as they are a required part of their uniform. They were thrilled that we bought them for them. I was disappointed that the boots they selected are not in size 11... the boots we ordered for him appeared to be the same boots but were much more expensive...just to get a size 11. No wonder they asked for them for Christmas... they couldn't afford to buy 2 pair!
