- A: Per the manufacturer: All of our Snake boots are tested with North American Eastern Diamondbacks rattlesnake or cottonmouth moccasin. We can not confirm nor deny, we encourage to avoid the snakes as much as possible. Also there is another kind of cobra that will spit venom at its prey, so eye protection is also encouraged to be used.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Are the bottom soles a hard rubber? If so, will they keep thorns from penetrating into the shoe and stabbing the foot? I have been told snake boots are the only shoe which protects against such issues.

Q: Are there leather pieces on the outside of the boot? I want to ware them in a creek at times and would worry about damaging the leather (if it is leather).

Bad glue

This pair was bought with 50 percent discount cause 1st pair soles came apart. I got the new 2nd pair and after wearing a couple times they're coming apart at the soles also. Rocky must use weak glue
