Rilexine (Cephalexin) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that works by stopping harmful bacteria from being bale to effectively generate cell walls, which is an integral part of their lifecycle. This drastically inhibits their survival, putting an end to the infection.
Special Precautions
Keep away from children and animals. Use with caution in pets with kidney failure or a history of seizures. Use with caution in pregnant animals. Do not use on Pets whom have had previous allergic reactions to penicillin, other cephalosporins or antibiotics.

Side Effects
Rilexine is often agreeable with canine ingestion. It is frequently prescribed for several months with moderate to no side effects. Contact your veterinarian if any of the following occur:
- Loss of appetite
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Drooling
- Rapid breathing
- Skin rash
- Excitability
- High fever (rare)
