I am 5'2" and weigh 155. The 12's fit perfectly in the waist and hips. These are a higher rise for me, and the top sits just below my belly button. The zipper is longer than most pants now too. Length is a minor issue. Inseam is 32", but the legs taper a bit so my boots keep them off the ground. These are made of a heavier ripstop or parachute material so they are COLD this time of year. If you are planning on wearing something under, size up. For folks that can still squat down, there is a sewn in bit of extra fabric at the knees for give. Lots of deep pockets and a side pocket too. Will buy again.

Work pants should be loose fitting, not show your rear when bending over..etc. I got a size larger then what I usually wear in jeans. The pants were so tight I couldn't even pull them all the way up. So sad. On flip side if your a man I'd give these 5 stars. Fits my hubby great and he wears them all the time. Hence why I wanted some so when we worked I was more comfortable then in jeans. I might try getting men's instead. If I do I will update.
