Good item, to bad they sent the wrong thing.

Socks themselves were nice. However, I looked online at the store near me for these exact socks. It showed that they had them in stock, in the size I wanted. We went to the store and they only had L. We needed XL. I then proceeded to order them on line. When the socks were delivered they were L, not XL. I could have bought them while at the store. Very frustrating to say the least.

These are excellent socks! I've had several pair for use during the winter & they're probably the most durable and comfortable socks I've ever owned. On 74-year old feet, the comfort and warmth are both welcome.

Yes, good moisture wicking but sacrifices padding plus the leg/ankle portion of these socks are VERY tight.
Perhaps if they would have put more material into the foot portion and used 50% less elastic in the leg portion they would have had a winner, 2 stars at best.
