This is a much better jacket than the description on the web site would have you believe. To begin the flannel lining is quilted and stuffed with cold weather insulation. Kept me warm in 14 degree weather. It has fleece lined hand warmer pockets behind the flap pockets on each side, plus two interior pockets. It does not have ribbed cuffs in the sleeves. The collar is just canvas so in cold weather you need to wear a scarf with it. I would like to see them offer a detachable hood with it. The zipper is mid weight, but metal so I don't think that will be a problem. Overall pretty much just what I was looking for - a barn coat style jacket that is actually warm enough to use in the winter.
