A: A "water shield" jacket, which is essentially a water-resistant jacket, will start to get soaked in moderate to heavy rain within a relatively short time depending on the quality of its water repellent treatment and the intensity of the rain; while it might initially bead water, prolonged exposure to heavy rain will eventually cause it to become saturated, potentially within minutes or a few hours depending on the fabric and conditions.

A: I've had mine for two years and have washed it several times and it has held up well. I used it for work and at the farm and is still going strong.

A: This product could provide good protection to severe temperatures, but everyone has a different metabolism, and wind, humidity, activity level, etc., can all affect how warm a coat feels. The manufacturer does recommend a few options that are designed very specifically for extra-cold weather (the duck and the liner for this are good, but there are other "models" that are a lot more insulating). Where this one is "sherpa-lined", there are "arctic" and "sub-arctic" -lined options available under Tractor Supply Co. SKUs: 1361156, 1520870 (currently on sale), 1520874 (also currently on sale, as of 11/17/2020).

A: On the Tall the body is 2” longer and the sleeves are 1.5” longer than the Regular.
