It does not matter what adjustment I put it on I can easily without effort here the whistle or the obnoxious noise it makes it's not even really a whistle. Doesn't matter if I blow into it softer or harder or as hard as I can does not matter the setting it does not go silent. I was actually really looking forward to getting one I can never find one around here and I finally did and it has been a complete let down So now unfortunately I have to waste time to go return it.

Doesn't work for me. Maybe I don't know how to work this thing. But I don't recommend buying this unless you are replacing one that is just like this and you already know how to use it.

Now of course it took a little bit of time but from the first time I blew this whistle with a new dog that I brought home as a rescue when he heard it he immediately stopped barking and howling when he heard it again he stopped barking even longer a few more times after that over the course the next few days and he had almost been completely broken of howling and barking at random whatever in the dark at night by the time my neighbor decided they wanted to take him in I gave the whistle to them and haven't heard much trouble out of him and he's been kept outside.

I understand himans cant hear the whistle, but the dogs arent hearing it either. Wish I would have read the reviews first.
