I bought this 4 or 5 months ago. For a 23 pound Jack Russell, the button stopped working, so it will not retract. Do not buy it, it is not worth $40.

I have purchased TWO of these retractable leashes and BOTH of them have ripped in the same spot. It rips straight thru and then I have to go and chase my puppy
