I bought a set of these kennels years ago and they did really well. I added on to my kennels and bought more of these. 1 year later I have had to replace the newer set. I don’t know what has changed with the manufacturer, but these kennels are not worth money.

Not the quality of the old style.

Really want to give it 1star based on comparison to the old gate but it's not a terrible product, just nowhere near as nice as the old style. I picked one of these up by accident and had to hunt down a store with the old style to swap it out. I have big dogs and my mid-rail on my old gate has no paint from the dogs raising up on it. This gate has no mid-rail at all, so I'm pretty sure my dogs would have the welds on the wire broken in no time. The wire on the old style is welded inside the frame. On this gate, they just laid it on top and welded it. This gate also has no doghouse panel that can be removed if needed and the gate latch hardware isn't pre-installed like it was on the old gates. Overall, this is a much cheaper built gate, with none of the features the old gates have, for the same money. My old gate still works fine after two years; I purchased a second to use my kennel as a two-door entryway into a new dog pen I'm building.

This might be one of the worst products TSC has ever offered. Whoever's decision it was to discontinue the original Retriever Dog Kennel for this, should be fired. And TSC is selling poor quality kennel for the same price.

I liked the older style much better...they had heavier gauge wire, were a little taller...just better made...I don't feel that these will last as long.
