Less than one year old, Feed original Renew Gold. One to three years of age 0.5 to 1 pound per day. Mature horse (light work) 1 pound per day. Mature horse (moderate to heavy work) 1 to 1.5 pounds per day. Senior horse (light work) 1 pound per day. Senior horse (moderate to heavy work, weight gain) 1.5 to 2 pounds per day.

While replacing grain-based feeds with Renew Gold XTRA is going in a safe direction change. You should still three or four days to make the transition. Reduce grain-based feed by half and feed 1/2 pound of Renew Gold XTRA for three days. After three days, increase Renew Gold XTRA to recommended amount in feeding directions and eliminate the remaining grain-based feed from the diet. Always provide clean water, salt and plenty of quality roughage.
