Not for jobs that require prolonged current

This has been really helpful in my home garage. Plenty of length to reach the driveway. But it does have two shortcomings. 1. The cord retraction can be a little finicky. That's not a huge deal, but sometimes after standing there tugging on the cable for a minute, you just have to give up and move on with your life. 2. I do NOT recommend this for use with EVs or anything that requires current for a long period of time. I plugged the 110v charger for my wife's EV into this cord reel. And the three-prong receptacle became very warm after a while. The cable is rated for 13a, and the charger was running at 12a. I turned the charger down to 8a, and the cable is still becoming warm. I also noticed some melting around the edges of the rubber where the prongs go in. I will probably buy another reel that is rated higher.

I order 3 of these reels and only one has been delivered . can you find out where the rest are
My credit card was charged for 3 . Are they back ordered? THe reel I have is great
