Q: Does this reel have an internal cord guide? Many reels have problems with internal cord jams that would be solved by a cord guide.

- A: Sorry, it doesn’t have cord guide. In order to have better heat dissipation inside of the cord reel, Vendor did not add the cord guide system on this SKU, but the cord will not jam as the space is big enough and the max. cord capacity for this reel is 65ft. Thanks5 years agoHelpful?

Q: Faulty, right out of the box....or? Red light is on; yet circuit breaker button doesn't appear to reset anything. Owners manual doesn't say if light is ON all the time, when it's powered, or only when 'tripped'. Is Red light on, Normal ??

I bought two of these on sale for the price of one. One for me and one for my dad. I mounted mine and it worked perfectly. I mounted my dad’s and it would only pull out about 6 feet. I had to pull it off of the wall and disassemble the housing to untangle the cord. Once it was reassembled and mounted… it works, but not quite as smoothly as mine. My reel is a 5 star and I would rate my dad’s as a 3 star (hence the 4 star rating).

Installed my electric cord reel and it’s very rugged. I also like that the wire is 12 gauge and the built in breaker. The operation is very smooth and it includes a 3 connection outlet for flexibility
