I bought one end of 2018 season, it distorted,and burned out in a couple months. I would recommend fire brick on bottom of the large log wood stove,and forget the grate.

So far, so good. I did read the reviews prior to purchase. Maybe I'll be one of the fortunate to get a better quality product. I'll update if it melts and twists as some of the others did in prior reviews.

I have been buying RedStone grates for years. We have a fireplace insert stove. We use at least two of these per season (about 12 weeks) because they droup to the stove floor and then break. I haven’t been able to find these grates by another manufacturer.

No, I do not recommend this product.
