I bought this online and had it shipped to local TSC store. Had never heard of a Red Lion engine but it looks very similar to a Honda. Fired right up and ran like a champ. Three hours on a tank of fuel. I am very happy with the pump. Had to buy a couple small extensions to allow connections to the inlet and outlet due to poor clearance with the frame. Small problem easily fixed.

Here's the deal. I bought this pump a couple of years ago to water my garden. Over the last 2 years, I've used it maybe 12 times. I've NEVER run it dry. It's kept dry and I always cleaned it after each use. Now, it works about 20% of the time, if at all. The engine is ok. The actual "pump" is a hunk of junk. It's impossible to prime and a complete hassle. I'm not sure why Red Lion is the only brand TSC carries. My gut said pass on it from the get-go but I bought it anyway. Now I wish I'd listen to my "gut". I"m on line now, looking for a replacement pump. You can bet it won't be a Red Lion.
