Quellin Soft Chewable Tablets, 100 mg,30 ct.

Quellin is an NSAID formulated to control joint pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis, arthritis, hip dysplasia or surgery. It's also an effective fever reducer. Quellin is available by prescription only and comes in a scored, chewable tablet form to be administered to your dog orally.How it Works

A non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory, non-narcotic, agent, Carprofen has antipyretic and analgesic activity identically potent to indomethacin in animal models.

Special Precautions

Do not administer Quellin with steroids (such as prednisone, cortisone, triamcinolone, or dexamethasone) or an NSAID (such as etodolac, tepoxalin, deracoxib, firocoxib, meloxicam, or aspirin). Quellin will not cure Osteoarthritis, but it will improve mobility and decrease inflammation and pain in dogs.

Side Effects

NSAIDs most common side effects are to the stomach like bleeding ulcers and kidney or liver issues.

Other side effects include:

• Vomiting
• Increased or decreased appetite
• Tarry, black, bloody stool
• Diarrhea
• Seizure, aggression, increased or decreased activity level
• Incoordination
• Jaundice
• Drinking habit changes (increase or decrease in amount consumed, frequency)
• Urination habit changes (smell, color, frequency)
• Skin changes (scabs, scratching, redness)
