PLAIN END, ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 1785, NSF STANDARD 14, NSF STANDARD 61. PVC Schedule 40 Pipe is for pressure systems, White pipe with red print that is used in potable water applications. Cold water only where temperatures will not exceed 140 deg Fahrenheit. It is highly resilient, with high-tensile and high-impact strength. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement. All Charlotte Pipe products are manufactured in the USA. It is non-toxic, lightweight and easy to install.

  • For working temperatures between 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Not to exceed 600 PSI.
  • Not for use with compressed air or gas.
  • Marked for pressure applications only.
  • PVC Schedule 40 Pressure Pipe is used in irrigation, underground sprinkler systems, swim pools, outdoor applications and cold-water supply lines.
  • Lightweight, non-toxic and easy to install.

Q: Does this have a flair Coupling on one end or is it just straight pvc on both ends

Q: Will this PVC pipe withstand outdoor exposure in 120 degree air temperatures on a roof in the Phoenix area? The pipe would be mounted so that it would not make direct contact with the concrete roof tile.

While PVC Pressure Pipe Class 40 600 P 1/2X10 is suitable for cold-water applications and has a maximum operating temperature of 140°F, installing it on a Phoenix roof in 120°F air temperatures for long-term, direct outdoor exposure without protective measures is not recommended.
