PLAIN END, ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 1785, NSF STANDARD 14, NSF STANDARD 61. PVC Schedule 40 Pipe is for pressure systems, White pipe with red print that is used in potable water applications. Cold water only where temperatures will not exceed 140 deg Fahrenheit. It is highly resilient, with high-tensile and high-impact strength. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement. For working temperatures between 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
