Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NC NeuroCare Canine Formula employs a method extensively used in epileptic children - adding ketones for a source of energy to the brain. Dogs easily metabolize MCTs that produce ketones. Researchers and scientists have theorized that MCTs block certain brain receptors, offering a direct anti-seizure response. This formula also offers B vitamins, antioxidants, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). These ingredients have been proven through research to improve the condition of dogs suffering from CDS (cognitive dysfunction syndrome).

Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 105 g of NC NeuroCare Canine Formula. The following feeding program is recommended as a guideline only, with discretionary clinical adjustments for proper weight maintenance. With your veterinarian's approval, offer increasing amounts of the new food with decreasing amounts of the old food.
