Switched my beagle from purina pro plan weight mgt to this and we are very pleased. Only a few more calories but fewer ingredients and no corn wheat and soy. Fiber from oats with great results.

Dog loves the taste -- not sure if right for him

I had been using a different brand, of salmon and brown rice. My dog liked it, but when I saw Advantage was Salmon and Oatmeal, I thought that might be gentler on his stomach. He likes it well enough, eats it right up and leaves nothing in bowl. Comes running when he hears the bag rustling. But, his poops are inconsistent. They can be fine in the morning and by midafternoon, diarrhea. No other symptoms. I don't know if it's the kibble, or perhaps treats. I'm going to feed him straight kibble and his canned dog food and see if I can figure it out.
