You'll have no problem ringing pigs, shoats or hogs with these Producer's Pride 1-7/16 in. Decker's Hump Hill's Hog Rings. The rings are made with a slight hump in the center that allows them to close easier. Each hog ring is crafted from copper-coated construction to ensure durability. Pack of 100 hog rings.

  • For veterinary use only
  • Can be used for ringing pigs, shoats or hogs
  • Compatible with Hill's Ringer (sold separately)
  • Place the upper point of the ring immediately behind the rim on the hogs nose (directly in the center) and the lower point as far down as possible on the end of the nose
  • By doing so, this means the ring will be filled when closed, will not collect and carry trash, and is not liable to catch on anything and be torn out
  • Durable copper-coated construction for lasting use
  • Slight bend or hump in the center allows the hog rings to close easily
  • Pack of 100 hog rings
  • Made in USA
  • Hog rings measure 1-7/16 in. diameter x 12-1/2 gauge
  • Limited lifetime warranty

Q: Would the 1 7/16 be the best size to “loosely” hold livestock panels together? I’ll need to be able to move and adjust them to different parameters. If not, could you tell me which size is needed.

  • A: The two most common gauges for hog rings are 9-gauge and 11-gauge. The 11-gauge hog rings are for light use. However, the heavy-duty 9-gauge hog rings are what you want to use for fencing. You should also use the C-shaped hog rings for fencing, rather than the D-shaped or U-shaped versions.

Great product

We have used these for years to make enclosures for our goats. They work fantastic to clamp cattle panels together as well as goat panels. Hold up well and haven’t had any rust even after 6 years of use.
