Prozap Bovi-Rub, 10 ft. is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Coverage is limited Good for face flies if your cattle are smart enough to rub their face in it. Half of my cattle are not. Other than that it will only treat the upper parts of the animal. Most of the flies will move and feed on the cattle belly and legs. You will need to follow up with a hand held sprayer to the underside for this to be really effective. My Brahman bull enjoys rubbing his head all over this thing and it keeps flies away from his head and back. But as I said he has lots of flies where this doesn't touch. So keep in mind this is a half measure item.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What am I doing wrong? I can't get the rub to absorb the insecticide. It just rolls off no matter how slowly I pour it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Bought two of these rubs. End loop on one came loose after a few days and the second one made it about a month. Have never had this happen to a cattle rub in thirty plus years of farming. In addition, the cover material does not seem to hold up as well as rubs I have used in the past.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Replace every year! In Texas, these stay up year round and the cotton cover tends to rot and the stuffing is all over the place. Took them down one winter but rotted in the barn due to chemicals and sun exposure. It works don't get me wrong but annual replacement can be irritating.

how high should I hang this off the ground for average sized cattle

Asked by: bobt73
A good rule of thumb with the 10 ft Cattle Rub, is to hang it parallel to the ground at round 5 ft height and then as the cattle get used to it, you can lower it down, so it sags to around 4 ft height.
