This mortise lock is excellent for either a wood or aluminum door application. It features an integration of keeper and lock for positive anti-lift protection. The plated steel hook is mounted in an anti-friction pivot, encased in aluminum housing. Typically used by Pennco and a variety of other sliding patio door manufacturers. Mounting holes are 3-7/8 in. on center. Overall depth is 1-3/16 in..

It’s junk! Don’t buy this mortise lock. I’ve bought three of these. The first lasted about a year. The second, only six months. The last one only three month.
