Sliding Door Hardware

Barn doors, patio sliders and other sliding door styles all save space by moving along a track instead of swinging into a room. To keep your sliding door functioning smoothly, Tractor Supply offers sliding door hardware as part of our door and door hardware inventory. Our selection has you covered with everything from full barn door track kits to single replacement parts.

The Components Behind a Smooth-Running Door

The material a sliding door part is made from usually tells you where it belongs and how long it will last. Steel and aluminum work well for heavy panels and doors that open and close dozens of times a day because neither bends easily under force. Zinc shows up in handles and pulls because it resists corrosion without the need for extra coating. Plastic and nylon are the right call for rollers, guides and paired roller assemblies where quiet, low-friction movement is important.

Sliding barn doors follow a different logic than patio or closet doors. Instead of fitting into a frame, they hang from an exposed overhead track and require hardware that supports the full weight of the panel. Our selection includes hardware for barn doors, as well as:

Patio Door Repair and Replacement Parts

Patio doors take a lot of daily use, and a single worn part is usually what throws the whole door off. Repair tracks come as stainless steel strips that slot into place when the original is bent. Handle sets are available in keyed and non-keyed versions, and door pulls mount on the outside of the door for exterior access. Binder posts with screws run through the door panel and fasten on both sides to keep attached hardware from working loose over time. One replacement part in the right spot often gets your door moving cleanly again.

Closet and Wardrobe Door Hardware

A closet door that sticks or jumps the track usually has one failing component rather than a bigger problem. Bottom guides install at the floor and hold the panel on its path, so it slides straight rather than drifting. Rollers do the actual work of carrying the door along the track, and they come in several diameters sized to specific door systems. Mounting style matters too, since top-mount and bottom-mount rollers are not interchangeable.

Bottom Guides and Sweeps for Shower Doors

Water can get into every part of a shower space, so the hardware at the base of the door must withstand constant exposure. Bottom hook guides hold the door panel in position, so it stays in the track, and bottom sweeps attach along the lower edge to keep water from running out onto the floor. Plastic and vinyl are standard for both because they hold up in wet conditions without corroding the way bare metal does.
