This lock and door reinforcer is constructed of stainless steel and fits 1-3/4 in. thick doors. It features a recessed latch plate pocket for flush installation of hardware. This security device assists in preventing forced entry by reinforcing the weak spot of an entry door, and it can be used on both metal and wood doors. This item accommodates key-in knob locksets on doors that have 2-1/8 in. bore sizes with a backset of 2-3/8 in. The width of this door guard is 3-7/8 in. and it is 4-1/2 in. tall. These door reinforcers are easy to install and they are used by many. All installation fasteners are included with this item.

    This was just what I needed to fix the door, but

    a month ago
    Was what I needed, won't order through TS again 7 bucks to deliver to the store, I should have just gone with a company that offers free store to store delivery, but figured it was close and still took 4 days and a delivery charge to the store. Won't make that mistake again and TS won't get my business as long as they want to charge shipping to the store. It makes no sense to charge the same rate as shipping to your house. Most stores don't charge a shipping fee if it is store to store.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
