The Prime-Line U 9928 key sash lock adds an extra layer of security for sliding window, preventing unauthorized access. Ideal for child-proofing high elevation windows, ensuring peace of mind in your home. This sash lock can only be unlocked with the provided key, making it a reliable childproof lock for vertical and horizontal window key lock systems. Perfect for keeping curious kids safe indoors. Built with strong, diecast zinc, this window lock offers lasting durability with a sleek white enamel finish. It is designed for use on aluminum, wood, or vinyl sliding windows. Installation is a breeze with all fasteners included. A Phillips head screwdriver is all you need to mount this lock for windows securely on vertical or horizontal sash frames. The slide window lock has a 5/8-inch narrow keeper and 2-inch mounting hole center spacing. For further dimensional information, please see the line drawing before purchasing.

  • WINDOW SASH LOCK This window sash lock can be used on vertical single and double hung sliding windows, and on horizontal sliding windows. It can be installed on windows constructed of aluminum, wood and vinyl sash and frames.
  • CHILD-PROOF Prime-Line Keyed Sash Lock is designed to child-proof sliding windows and secure windows at high elevation. The lock can only be opened with the included key, keeping curious kids safely inside.
  • INSTALLATION This design allows these locks to be mounted on single or double hung windows where their checkrails rest flush when closed, the sash lock features a 1 inch deep base, 5/8 inch deep keeper, 1/2 inch backset on lock base, 1/4 inch backset on keeper with 2 inch mounting hole center spacing on both the keeper and cam-action keyed locking latch
  • DURABLE Made of heavy-duty diecast zinc with a white enamel finish, this child-proof sash lock is strong, durable and made to last with Phillips and One-Way fasteners
  • NON-TURNING KEY - When the key is inserted into the keyhole, the thumb turn and cam are released allowing it to be rotated open or rotated closed. To lock the device in the open or closed position, simply remove the key from the lock.
