The Prevue Pet Products Hampton Deluxe Divided Breeder Cage System with Stand offers a quality wrought-iron bird cage stand with convenient features built in. Use the included divider to create 2 separate, smaller cages or remove the divider to use as 1 large cage for your bird(s) and bird toys. Complete with pull-out bottom grilles and trays on each half, you can easily clean this cage when the time comes. I'm glad I checked TS for this pet bird product

My appreciation of this institution just keeps growing. I have a pair of Conures (small parrots) who came with me from the gulf coast of Texas over 20 years ago. For all this time they've been in a standard, tall, play-top cage but, in the last couple years, my Blue Crown developed a tumor on her belly which grew to a size which impacted her mobility; she fell off her perch and injured herself... after a trip down to Albuquerque to see an avian vet, I started looking for something in which she couldn't climb too high and fall down. This "cage" (we say "house" not "cage") is very versatile and well made. If you really are breeding birds or just have several birds, you can stack two more units on; I was able to find a nice dark cage cover made by Prevue but I think its designed to be used with at least a two tier unit... we'll keep making do with a couple of Mexican blankets.

I love these cages and they are my go to for breeders. I use them in my living room set up as cubes for my pets that are out of their cages all day and also in my breeding room for my pairs. I like that I can introduce new pairs using the divider. I would recommend these to anyone with multiple small birds or looking to breed small to medium birds. I use a whole length for conures, parrotlets, and quakers. The cages are plenty roomy for all of these guys and could be cut to the cubes of exercise is available. The doors open smooth the trays work well and once you build one and get the feel for it they assemble quick and easy. These stack nice with the set without stand and are sturdy when stacked. They also look nice in your home when in use. All around good buy..

The Best that you will find Out There

After doing a lot of research on this type of Breeding cages , I stuck with the Prevue Brand ( most others were made in China, Japan or some other Foreign Country and all the reviews reflected poor packing and bent parts/// My only wish that I would change on these cages is if they provided a couple of 38" dowel rods to run the full length without the divider and removable nest box doors , because it makes it hard to mount an outside of cage nest box //// But overall these are the best Breeding cages available for Parakeets, canaries or lovebird
