Potassium Chloride Injection 40 mEq is indicated for electrolyte replenishment and fluid replacement in animals requiring rehydration. Each dose contains 40 mEq of potassium chloride and must be diluted prior to administration. This injectable solution may be prescribed by veterinarians for cats, dogs, horses and other livestock to restore fluid and electrolyte balance following illness, exercise or other conditions causing depletion.

Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F).

Potassium Chloride

  • Contains 40 mEq of potassium chloride per dose
  • Provides electrolytes and replenishes fluids
  • Used to help rehydrate animals and restore electrolyte balance when needed
  • Potassium chloride concentrate injection is safe for use in cats, dogs, horses and other livestock
