The PORTER-CABLE 1/2 in. Air Impact Wrench is great for removing and tightening lug nuts and bolts. With its lightweight design, this compact air impact wrench is easy to handle and you won't have any trouble using for long jobs. To enhance every job, there is a handle on the PORTER-CABLE air impact wrench with a two finger trigger for improved comfort and control. The air impact wrench has conveniently located forward/reverse controls for easy change of direction.

Does what it is designed to do

This tool performs as designed. These negative reviews are made by people who undoubtedly are using an air compressor that's too small. Standard 6 gallon air compressors produce about 2.5 SCFM @ 90 psi. This tool requires 4.5 SCFM. I suggest understanding your equipment before you buy tools to go with it.

Looks nice. Doesn’t work at all. Won’t loosen nuts that I ended up taking off by hand with a breaker bar. Don’t waste your money

Not a waste as other reviews stated!

Purchased to remove 1" - 8 nut on a tractor gear box. This nut had been in place for 40 years. The compressor regulator needs to be set at 90 ftlbs working pressure (this means with the impact working). Removed the nut with no issue.
