Don’t waste your money

Pros-
Range: decent
Waterproof: yes, can handle a rainforest climate.
Cons-
Pretty much everything else
System: randomly goes down with no warning. There is no way to remotely monitor the device or collars. Would be helpful is there was an app to give warnings to allow smooth management.
Collars: will not stay on at ALL. tried so many things to get the collar to stay on and there is no other type of fasteners (ex: clip, buckle, etc…)
Correction: inconsistent. Varies too much to be effective.
Battery: another factor that varies too much. Lasts 1-3 months is a significant amount. Batteries are relatively affordable but buying every month versus every few months makes a considerable difference.
Overall just not worth it. It had
caused more problems than it’s solved. We have high prey drive hunting dogs and this is meant to be a safer alternative to keeping them tied up when they are unable be supervised or working. The shoddy collar is the most frustrating part.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It's extremely unusual to have difficulty with collars staying on while they are fit as intended and undamaged, as the quick snap buckles on these collars snaps securely together. Though we do not have an alternative buckle available for these collars, it is worth mentioning that any collar strap can be used if you punch holes in the collar strap of your choice. If using a nylon collar, we would recommend burning the edges of the holes with a lighter or similar flame to help prevent fraying.
Additionally, it is vital to mention that none of our training systems should ever be used while a dog is unmonitored, as they are not a physical barrier. Though many dogs will respect their boundaries after going through the training process, for safety we do recommend a family member always be nearby to be able to check on them while they are enjoying their yard during the 8-12 hours per day they can wear the collar. We're so sorry for any misunderstanding.

This has come in handy we do have a gate but there a some small gaps in it and we have a chihuahua who is small enough to fit through these gaps. We’ve set up the device and he only wears the collar when he’s outside (which is not often) and it works good it’s kept him from escaping.

I bought the pet safe wireless unit put a wireless containment system 90’ around my house from my unit. i carried the collar
when it beeped I stuck a flag in my yard until i had a boundary. around my house , I
the n put the collar on my dog and walked her towards the flags i left the flags in for two weeks after pulling the flag off she has never
crossed the boundary. boundary can be set between 30 an 60’ . been two year and will
will never go cross even with collar off. I highly
recommended for any dog, my dog is high str
very. active. Don’t waste your money to dig to digging your yard. check out this unity on you tube.

We have three dogs and have enjoyed these collars overall. However, we’ve had to replace two collars because they stop working. Batteries changed regularly and all of a sudden they just stop working. New batteries don’t turn them on. Our last collar we had for less than three weeks and it stopped working.

No headaches

Excellent! This is my second collar purchased for dog number 2.I now have peace of mind knowing my dog stays within a designated area!! Humorously , prior to getting another collar, I swapped collars and put the one with the perimeter sensor on my new dog. I put another collar on the first dog, who was oblivious to that fact and he stayed also within the designated area!! Awesome!!

Super easy to set up. This is an expensive item, but compared to other similar products it isn’t so bad. Perfect range for our yard, which is right around .5 acres. Tone only setting is a bonus.

Overall a great product! Takes a while to set up and configure the system (a couple of hours). The range of the fence is incredible and easily adjustable. I will say that it takes some time to train your animal with this system; especially if they are older in age. Took about a week for my 7 year old Husky to realize and understand his limits. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for fence alternatives!

Good collar

We recently tried out this wireless fence collar, and it was decent. We have issues with the range, but overall, it's not bad. My dog isn't a fan of wearing the collar, so that's still a work in progress. The collar itself though is pretty strong and easy to adjust.

Simple to use, fits different sized dogs

First things first, this will work for many different size dogs so that’s already a plus. Originally I was excited to get this for my Sheppard as the house we had just moved into was only partially fenced, but he passed before we got it. It still fit my beagle so it’s still a plus. The box says 1-2 hours to set up but it was a lot less than that. Super simple to use. I don’t know if it’s the collar or not, but my dog has not wandered beyond the perimeter we set. All in all a nice safety net to feel safe when you want to make sure your doggos won’t get out.

I bought this system about 5 years ago, and it works great. If you do not have a PhD and power tools, do not buy this; the batteries are enclosed in a state- of- the- art clamshell package that will test your patience, sanity, and ingenuity. I can not figure out why these batteries are packaged so inconveniently, but I'm glad I have full use of my hands and my mind (mostly) when it comes time to replace the battery every three months.
Seriously, the system is great, though. I highly recommend it.

Worth it!

This worked great for me! We have a fence but part of it we try to seal off for my flowers to bloom and sometimes my dog will get back there to back at the neighbor! Once I had this set up, she quickly learned and my flowers are saved!

This took a couple of hours to set up. The transmitter is somewhat large, so it took a minute to determine where to put it. It does have a hanging feature, so we chose to hang it in the garage. It had a good range to cover our yard. You do have to work with your pet to train them and get them used to the boundaries. I have a labradoodle who is stubborn, so it did take about 5 days of working with her about an hour a day to get her used to, but now she's doing great and knows her parameters. Definitely a cheaper alternative to keep your pet safe than having a fence installed.

Though you might have already checked for this when you installed your transmitter, it is worth mentioning that the transmitter does need to be placed in a fully indoor, climate controlled location with nothing metal or electronic within 5 feet. If your garage is climate controlled this could be a great spot, but if not for long term use it would likely be best to move it indoors.

great for wireless fence!

trying this out with my boy! he’s still adjusting to it which is why he’s still on a leash, but it doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all. we’re trying to take it slow, and the battery has lasted us pretty well throughout the trial period. he really doesn’t walk off like that, so we haven’t gotten to test the range. i will say though, for the price point i would think it’d be a little more visually appealing or have some color options. i also somehow immediately ripped(?) a piece of the collar and i have to fix that or email about it so that was a little downside too.

Pet Safe Wireless Fence

I was really excited for this product because I have a 55lb German Shepherd and many times it is hard for me to walk her without pulling. She gets really excited when she sees the neighbors so having something to help contain her or keep her nearby is very helpful. The collar is very large and fits securely around her neck.

Easy to use

My dog is approximately 30 pounds and this fits him well. It was easy to set up and connect to my wireless fence and I like that it has a replaceable battery. I would definitely purchase again if I were to get another dog.

The range of the wireless fence is great. You can set the distance easily. The battery seems to last a long time. The dog stays on the grass and doesn’t wander.

Though the transmitter can temporarily be placed outside in nice weather, it is important to mention that for long term/day to day use the transmitter must be placed in a fully indoor, climate controlled location with nothing metal or electronic within 5 feet. Effective boundary

First off, I can see why the vets recommend The Pet Safe wireless fence. This fence was very easy to install and offers great durability for our fur baby Max. Right out the box it came ready to use. I can’t wait to see how much battery life it offers over its competitors. So far this product works great.
