PetSafe Outlast Pumpless Plastic Pet Water Fountain, Water Filter Included PWW00-17959

I’m giving it 4 stars because mine came without a filter and now I can’t shut off this bright blinking light so whoever had it before me had to have busted the button under where it plugs in order to turn the light off. I’m really disappointed here. This is day two with this stobe light going off blinding me. The dog loves it! The cat? Not so much who is who I bought it for.

I’ve had this fountain for about six months. Our two cats both like it and use it, it’s quiet enough and the reservoir is nice and large so there seems to be plenty of water for them without needing to refill constantly. I’ve been a little confused by the lights (sometimes the blue light stays on, other times there is no light at all) but I havent bothered to figure out if there is a setting that I inadvertently turned on/off. My major issue was that it’s really hard to clean by hand - I don’t have a dishwasher and I can’t find a wire brush small enough to fit in the nooks and crannies of the cone or the reservoir where the filter sits. Until this week when the Light started flashing red, the pump stopped operating and it won’t turn back on. I cleaned the reservoir and unplugged if, tried to reset it, still nothing. Even worse, now the cats are used to the moving water so I need to find a quick replacement fountain to get them to drink anything.

We get black and pink film in places that are nearly impossible to clean. Very disappointing.

I have had mine for about a month; it ran good at first. Now it runs for a few seconds, turns red, then blinks red and quits.
