The Easy Walk Harness is a no-pull dog harness that helps stop pulling and teaches him better leash manners. Q: I have a rat terrier jack Russell mix. He is 23 lbs and has a 6 in chest as well as a 20 inch girth. What size would be best?

  • A: Thank you for your great question! According to the measurements you provided, you may need to re-measure your dog's chest width. When you measure the chest width, be sure to wrap the measuring tape across the front of his chest over the breast bone to approximately 1 inch behind his front legs. Once you have this measurement, along with the girth measurement, you should find the size in the fitting chart that works for you. Q: My Labrador is 8 months 92 pounds.  I need a really great harness to walk him with the best control. Looking at this harness but need to know if you recommend a different one

(Ordered via chewy but putting it on here too) Definitely not chewys fault, in fact I appreciate their help with a quick and easy refund. My dog is only 14 pounds and is not too much of a puller, I thought I’d just try this harness out because I heard good things and am trying to train her better. She also is very prone to mats so I thought this style would be better than some of the other fabric ones. However, after 4 days of using she wasn’t pulling it and the metal loop completely snapped off of the fabric. She didn’t chew it as there was no fraying, the stitches or glue literally just snapped. Thank god I was on the beach and not a busy road and she came back to me after a few moments but it was very scary and definitely not a good look on the product. Even if I somehow just got a defect I won’t feel comfortable trusting another one of their products.

No, I do not recommend this product.

As dog owners ourselves, we can absolutely understand how frightening this must have been, and we're so sorry that you both had this experience. Though we cannot determine what may have happened in this specific situation without taking a look at the damage, it is important to mention that most chew damage does not appear as fraying on the edges, but rather as a straight line- almost as if the harness had been cut by scissors. As this harness is easy to reach while on the body due to how high it sits, the most common area affected by chewing is the loop on the front near the metal ring. We would love the chance to speak with you directly and look into this further to see what may have happened and how we may be able to help- we certainly want you to have a harness for your dog that you feel comfortable with as a training tool. Difficult snap

I like the clear instructions however the snap on belly strap doesn’t click shut well and takes multiple attempts. Also, once the chest strap is adjusted, it doesn’t stay in the adjusted place
