A real "life saver" for our older dog

Needed a way for our large dog (who is otherwise pretty healthy for her age) to get in and out of the house for potty breaks - she recently developed a spine problem that means one of her back feet doesn't function properly. There is no entrance to our house that does not require going up and down stairs. We are not able to carry her in and out of the house. The harness is easy to use (we only need the back part) and after only a couple uses and adjustments, we are able to get it on and off without stressing her out.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Chopper is our 13 y.o. 70 lb. Lab/Bully Mix. The CareLft Harness makes it possible for me to help Chopper up & down the stairs in our house. Also assisting him up the driveway which is a 15° incline. Helping him

Works Well w/Hack

Works Well enough but not until after the plastic clips on the most important part didn’t stay on. It happened when we were out so the quickest fix was to put the cover clip on backwards and it held great, even when I had to help lift a very tired lab into the car. Those Plastic Clips Need to Be Metal and have a better design. My Lab needs this now so I don’t have time to go back and forth with the company or try to find another but I am going to retro fit some kind of metal clip and replace the plastic ones. A chain is only as good as it’s weakest link and this could negate a very promising system.
