Q: Are those inside dimensions really accurate? Only 9" tall inside yet outer dimensions are so much different?

Q: I know it says up to 15 lbs but I have a car that is 15 lbs 10 oz. When they put these weights on products is it open to marginal error? Such as a few extra oz?

I only need this carrier to take my cats to the Vet. The carrier is a nice size. The only drawback is I cannot find a cushion/pad to fit it. All the pads I see are either too big or too small. I end up having to use some folded towels but they won't stay in place and end up a balled up mess. It's either that or just go without which is pretty uncomfortable for the cat laying on the hard plastic. I would recommend this carrier but would tell them the problem with finding a pad.
