Not quite the 4 inch thick supportive bed we need

Received the dog bed, opened and unwrapped it and saw that it was not the 4 inch thick bed it was advertised to be and figured it mayneed to expand due to the vacuum sealed packaging. I let it sit for 3 days and hoped for the best. 3 days later and it is still only 2 inches thick and it does not seem to be very supportive at that thickness. I will be returning this product because we wanted something supportive for our pup so he osnt achy from sleeping on a thin mat but, it has not lived up to this hope and need
