- The dwarf azalea bush prefers full sun to partial shade and rich acidic soil. Make sure it is moist soil. It only grows up to 3-5 feet tall and wide. Relatively easy to grow in the southern United States. Grows best in USDA plant hardiness zones 7-9 and is only slightly cold hardy down to zone 7 with winter protection.

Beware of ordering plants
a year ago
They are selling something their supplier doesn’t have. Ordered 3 gallon plant from TSC and the subbed out the order to Perfect Plants and they don’t even offer anything but a one gallon. They refunded the order but that didn’t get the plant I needed for the installers I had to pay for. Not good regardless of the refund.
