- The bright coral orange blooms that cover this small mounding shrub will last from mid-spring to mid-fall. You will see coral-colored flowers with double blooms appear in early spring and they contrast the dark green foliage nicely. It has one of the longest bloom times of all rose plants!
- This rosa meidrifora shrub is winter hardy and disease resistant like the rest of its family and can be either a full-size drift groundcover rose or a dwarf drift rose plant. It has excellent disease resistance to blackspot if cared for correctly.
- Drift roses grow in full sun or part shade. Plant coral shrub roses in any planting spot they are not picky about soil types but it does like well-drained soil. They prefer to be planted in spring or fall so it has the whole growing season to establish. Check out our Rose Soil Mix for the best rose potting soil!
- It can grow up to 1-2 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide, perfect for small gardens. This miniature rose bush grows best all over the United States in USDA plant hardiness zones 5-10.
- This cold-hardy rose has a spreading habit and is also easy to grow for many reasons. Once planted in the ground and a strong root system established, it is extremely drought tolerant and resistant to the hot, humid heat of summer.
- An annual application of mulch or organic matter can help benefit the rose plant by helping retain moisture. Prune drift roses in late winter or early spring only to maintain the desired size and shape. Check out our blog on Winter Care for Roses.

Worn but not worn out
This plant arrived fairly stressed and a good deal more immature than pictured plant. The root ball was in moist soil. There were dead and broken stems and leaves. The plant did not weather the trip as well as companion plant, but under circumstances the plant looked capable of being replanted and growing.
Yes, I recommend this product.
