This mulch was easy for me to carry without any help, has a nice pine smell, and worked well as mulch to suppress weeds around my raised garden beds, and to make little "nests" around the bases of my seedlings to help with water retention and weed suppression. one bag covered 2 4x8 raised beds for me with 2-3 inches (fluffed) of needles, and a second bag was good for a 2-3 foot perimeter, with a layer of cardboard underneath.

Great Product. Easy to spread and it holds in the moisture and keeps out the weeds. I grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Who would have thought I would be paying for pine straw, but it is worth it.
